Hyojung, a multi-talented designer with over a decade of experience across Korea and Australia, is dedicated to continuous growth. Currently pursuing a Master of Production Design (Screen) at the Victorian College of Arts (VCA), she seeks to broaden her artistic horizons. She is confident in her capacity to transform her imaginative visions into tangible reality, seamlessly possessing the skills necessary to bring her ideas to life.  Hyojung has a keen interest in observing and exploring various social issues, which adds a thoughtful perspective to her work. Her recent projects include set design for 'Past Lives' (2023), assistant art direction for 'XO, Kitty' (2023), and set design for 'Pachinko' (2022). Her VCA credits include Production Designer for ‘Road Kill’ and Art Director for ‘Dance with a Bull’.

When she’s not deep into film and design, you’ll likely find Hyojung with a coffee in hand (she’s a proud coffee addict and barista).  A true adventurer, she’s backpacked through over 40 countries, soaking up new cultures and stories along the way. And as a devoted ocean lover, she’s all about scuba diving, snorkeling, and doing her part to protect our planet’s natural beauty. Her interest in social issues even led her to join a political party—she’s all about making a difference. 
Oh, and she’s a lifelong baseball fan who’s been cheering for the same team since she was a kid, especially loving those summer nights at the baseball park. 
With her endless passion and wealth of experience, Hyojung pours her heart into everything she does.
